MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
A total of 82 tickets were submitted for the squats challenge, with Michelle Whitbeck winning the $100 prize. Congratulations to all participants! We were all impressed with the number of people who joined in, job well done.
Continue having even more fun at the studio this year!
Our instructors are giving out adorable small animal prizes as a “job well done” in class. And these aren’t just ordinary little toys – some of them even glow in the dark! My personal favorites are the tiny frogs & alligators, but there are so many more to collect. You’ll find cute little otters, pigs, snails, flamingos, beta fish, frogs, baby wales & deer, unicorns, chickens, doves, seals, chihuahua dogs, chicks, 5 different dinosaurs and crabs and more. It’s quite the collection- see how many you can gather!

The Pilates & Prayer Event was a great success! We all moved our bodies and quieted our minds, and created space to encounter God. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the class! We also were able to raise $1000 toward Catherine Durst’s Blood Cancer United Campaign. Thank you to all who donated!!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
A reminder to take time to pause, reflect and reconnect with ourselves. This topic is deeply personal to me because mental health isn’t just something we talk about- it’s something we live every single day. And one of the most powerful ways we can support our mental well-being is through self care.
Self care isn’t one size fits all. For some, it might mean getting extra rest and stillness. For others, it’s movement, creativity or enjoying a spa day or setting aside time for activities that bring joy. No matter how it’s defined, self care plays a powerful role in improving quality of life and overall mental well-being.
At its core, self care is about doing what helps us feel our best selves. It’s about building consistent habits that bring fulfillment, happiness, and balance into our lives. Managing everyday stresses in healthy ways requires intention-creating routines, setting priorities, making space for what truly matters.
One of the most transformative lessons I’ve learned recently, is the power of letting go. Releasing old habits, patterns, and mindsets that no longer serve me has opened the door to a fuller, more aligned life. In their place, I’ve made room for clarity, purpose and creating new opportunities. Growth often begins with the courage to clear out what’s holding us back.
This month – and every month- choose yourself. Choose the habits that heal you, the routines that ground you, and the life that lifts you. You deserve to feel whole, balanced and at peace.
Classical Pilates is a practice that helps us find that sense of peace within. It’s structured, intentional flow removes the need to overthink, creating a steady rhythm that allows us to fully connect mind and body. In that consistency, we find clarity.Through concentration, control, and purposely movement, Pilates becomes grounding.
True balance of body, mind and spirit isn’t found all at once- it’s built through returning, again and again, to what grounds you. For me, that constant is a great Pilates workout. It’s where I reconnect, realign and restore.
I am encouraging readers to let me know their experiences related to mental health and Pilates.
