When some hear the word, “Pilates,” they immediately think a series of exercises performed on their backs. Well, that is often what you may find in a Pilates Mat class, but don’t forget about some of the challenging, strength training workouts that are associated with Pilates Apparatus.

Especially the Pilates Cadillac. I train men and women on it, and challenge them greatly to build their upper body strength. Let’s look at the Hanging Pull-up. A client can perform as many as 10-20 reps of these and finish with an amazing stretch.
