Expands Program to Include Barre Cardio Kick and Private Barre Classes

Mount Pleasant, S.C. (February 6, 2012) – Lowcountry Power Pilates, LLC today announced the offering of its second Barre Training Certification Program to anyone interested in becoming certified to teach at the beginner/intermediate level.

During this program, participants will learn the exercises and principles of the barre method and classical Pilates. The class is designed to prepare participants to teach safe and effective group fitness and personal training programs through the development of leadership and technical skills. Topics covered include anatomy, injury prevention and care, structure and workout combinations. No previous instructing experience is necessary but participants are expected to complete 10 barre classes and required reading prior to attending the certification program.

The program will be offered Feb. 24-26 at the Lowcountry Power Pilates Studio located at East Shore Athletic Club – Park West, 3301 Stockdale St., Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 29466. Participants will meet Friday, Feb. 24, 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25-26, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Barre Cardio Kick and Private Barre Classes Now Available

Lowcountry Power Pilates is also pleased to announce the expansion of its barre program to include new classes. Barre Cardio Kick incorporates easy to follow combinations of punches and kicks designed to burn major calories. Additionally, private barre classes are now offered with any of their certified barre instructors. Private classes are targeted towards individuals that are expecting, recovering from injuries or participating in weight loss programs.
