She has worked in various Pilates studios in Albany, NY, Stamford, CT and a physical therapy practice that specialized in women’s health in Norwalk, CT.
After moving to and settling into the Charleston area, she joined the team at Lowcountry Power Pilates. She continues to practice Pilates and is an avid golfer. Certified Power Pilates Instructor
As a teacher, Kelly is naturally inclined to help others learn new things. As someone who struggled with weight through middle school into early adult years, she always tried to find what exercises work best for her.
In 2004, learned that she could become an exercise instructor and became certified in kickboxing- following the Tae Bo craze. Eventually, joined East Shore Athletic Club and met Joyce, the Pilates Mat instructor. Kelly enjoyed taking Mat classes and learned that Joyce had a Pilates Studio in the gym and offered reformer classes.
Kelly then earned her Power Pilates Core I Mat training through Lowcountry Power Pilates in September 2009 and continued with Systems Training in October 2009. After having 2 children and the busy lifestyle of a working mom, knew it was time to get back to my favorite exercise… Pilates
